DETARA WAS BORN IN 2026.
Our journey in the diamond and jewellery business began in 2020. Six years of sourcing, craftsmanship and quiet refinement led to DETARA — a new European-facing fine jewellery brand built around transparent sourcing, specialist craftsmanship and made-to-order jewellery.
THE BEGINNING
Our journey in the diamond and jewellery business began — early groundwork in sourcing and understanding the craft that would later define DETARA.
BUILDING IN SURAT
Relationships deepened with specialist diamond cutters and jewellery artisans in Surat, Gujarat — the world's diamond cutting and polishing centre — laying the manufacturing foundation the brand still relies on today.
REFINING THE STANDARD
Focus turned to consistency: working exclusively with D–G colour, VVS clarity diamonds, and formalising quality checks and independent IGI and GIA certification into every piece produced.

The founders came together around a shared vision — combining Norwegian business experience with diamond and jewellery expertise to bring transparent, made-to-order fine jewellery to customers across the UK and Europe.
